I purchased a second pair of your Nation Plus winter boots in December of 2017, after three winter seasons with my first pair, the ‘seam sealed waterfproof’ feature failed and I was getting water coming into the boots through the seams where the upper attaches to the soles. My second pair of
Nation Plus boots had the heel of the sole wear down to open holes after
only three winter seasons. The ‘seam sealed waterproof’ feature failed on these as well.

I realize that your warranty duration is one year and does not cover natural wear of materials over time. However, I’m wondering if seam sealing and heel wear are common issues with your Nation Plus boots? I have been very pleased with the boots other than these details. The thinsulate liners keep my feet quite warm as long as water doesn’t get into the boots. I was hoping that the boots would last a little longer being that they are a high end brand like Kamik. Perhaps it would be worth your time to take a second look at the build and construction on the Nation Plus?

I am very brand loyal, so I’d like to stay with Kamik. I am a fan of your brand but not a 100% satisfied customer. Do you think that going to a more expensive model like the Cody, which seems to be made of different material, would help the boots to last longer?

What are the possibilities of you providing me with either a set of Nation Pro boots or Cody boots in exchange for professional photos of these boots in the field? I am a pro advertising photographer and would be willing to create and post photos of the boots on my Instagram and Facebook, encouraging people to purchase.
